Brian Landis Folkins (Lefty in The Happiest Song Plays Last) has been an Artistic Company member since 2012. He was last seen in Dust, a collaboration between Wonderbound and Curious as CW, and on the Curious Stage as Kenny in Detroit, Jim in Astronomical Sunset and as Philippe Petit in Up. Recently, Brian was Fersen in Marie Antoinette, M in Cock, Bradley in Buried Child, and Brick in A Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at The Edge Theatre, Off Square’s Productions of The Cherry Orchard as Yepikhodov and Crime and Punishment as Raskolnikov in Jackson Hole, WY, The 10th as Sgt. Toomy at the Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge,  Peter in Bug with OpenStage Theatre, Messenger #1 as M#1 with the Catamounts, and Mauratius as Dennis with BETC. He played Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire for the Tennessee Williams Festival in Mr. Williams’ birth town of Columbus, Mississippi. Brian also travelled to Ireland, where he played both parts in rotation in Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story. Brian has been in over 100 short & feature films most recently Hoax which was shot in Lake City, CO and is currently doing Motion Capture and VO for a Video Game. He has taught acting and juggling at the DCPA for almost 20 years.
