Curious Theatre Company, a year-round Equity theatre specializing in new work, seeks Part Time Finance Manager.
Finance Manager responsibilities include (but may not be limited to):
- Manage bank relationships
- Manage cash flow, Accounts Payable and Receivable, and fees
- Oversee audit and 990 prep
- Create finance reports for various organizational needs
- Report on overall finances to Managing Director
- Manage payroll and taxes
Ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized, and effective in a collaborative environment. Experience in a position of managing finances required. Finance Manager reports to Managing Director and works collaboratively on budgeting and fiscal oversight of the organization. BA or BS required.

TICKET CLERKS
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will sell tickets to Curious Theatre Company events using an automated ticket system.
Processes cash, credit card, and check sales. Balances cash register and maintains appropriate sales records.
Schedule/Pay:
3 Hour shifts (one hour before curtain through intermission and occasionally through the end of show)
Available days: Curtain times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8PM and Sunday at 2PM.
Duties Include, but are not limited to:
-Answers telephone calls, provides information on events, assists patrons with information, and takes ticket orders.
-Processes cash, checks, and credit card payments through box office registers; balances registers and makes daily ticket sales reports as appropriate.
-Assists in creating and maintaining customer accounts, making ticket sales deposits, and entering data into a computerized ticket system.
-Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Previous box office experience preferred
-Customer service experience with cash handling responsibility preferred
Requirements:
-Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
-Ability to take orders and impart information over the telephone.
-Ability to operate a computerized ticketing system.
-Knowledge of cash management principles and/or procedures.
-Ability to sit or stand for more than two hours
