Rey Lopez (Agustin) is thrilled to make his debut with such a magnificent play here at Curious Theatre Company. He has performed at New Theatre Miami, Syracuse Stage, Laguna Playhouse, and the East LA Classic Theatre. Rey has appeared in many shows as a company member of LA’s Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, with whom he also had the pleasure of performing at the Chamizal International Theatre Festival in Mexico. He has made a few laughable appearances on Telemundo (seriously, they were comedies), and has been in far too many un-notable indie films including one recently with Danny Trejo that dang well better take off. As a director, he has developed several new works including The Sunshine State at Second City Los Angeles and Restless Legs Syndrome at the Comedy Central Workspace, and has been nominated for a New Hampshire Theatre Award. He developed and implemented a theatre outreach program for Boston Public Schools, and has worked as a teaching artist in theaters, schools, and halfway houses in New York, Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles. Rey holds a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University.
